Studio Green bags remake & distribution rights of 'Businessman'

Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green which is also the production house of Suriya and Karthi Sivakumar has bagged the Tamil Nadu distribution rights of magnum opus 'Businessman', a Telugu biggie starring Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal.

It is also said that Studio Green has also bought the Tamil remake rights of the film and depending on the success 'Businessman' sees in Telugu; the film will be remade in Tamil with Karthi or Suriya as the hero!

The film is a Pongal / Sankranti special and will see a big worldwide release on January 13; it's directed by Puri Jagannadh, who knows commercial cinema like the back of his hand. It may be mentioned, Mahesh and Puri had earlier delivered 'Pokirri', a blockbuster that was remade in several languages.
