Which Khan will it be in 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyadu' remake?

Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyadu' that released in 2006 introduced to Tamil cinema a never-seen-before sort of crime thriller. Now grapevine is abuzz that the film will be remade in Hindi by Gautham Menon who seems to be trying his best to carve a pan Indian image for himself as a director.

Gautham who forayed in Hindi cinema with the dub of his film 'Minnale' as 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein' has reportedly confirmed this remake of his venture in Hindi and he is said to be toying with the idea of casting either Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan in the lead role. Kamal Haasan played the lead in the Tamil original along with Jyothika.

Gautham currently has 'Ek Deewana Tha' (VTV in Hindi) and a trilingual that's titled 'Neethanae En Ponvasantham' in Tamil and 'Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru' with Vijay.

He'll soon be approaching both the Khans following which an official announcement will be made. Who do you think will fit best in the role reprised by Kamal in the original?
