A special screening of the film Gali Gali Chor Hai had been organised for social activist Anna Hazare on Jan 24. The film was screened at his native village Ralegan Siddhi, situated in Parner Taluka, Ahmednagar District, Maharashtra. Anna watched the film along with Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Mugdha Godse, Annu Kapoor, producer Nitin Manmohan and director Rumi Jaffery.
Anna saw the entire film and expressed his satisfaction over it. Since the plot of Gali Gali Chor Hai deals with the issue of corruption, the film's core team felt that it would be just right for Anna, the anti-corruption crusader, to share his valuable views on the subject. Around 2000 villagers also saw the film at the do.
