Rajinikanth to start shoot next month, says he is well

Superstar Rajinikanth had his interaction with Chennai mediapersons perhaps for the first time after his medical treatment in Singapore and return to the City last year. He said,' I am doing well. I will be starting shoot sometime next month.'

This statement from Rajini comes on the heels of A.R. Rahman's announcement that he will be scoring music for the superstar's next film 'Kochadaiyan'.

On the evening of 5th January, Rajinikanth watched theatre personality Y.Gee Mahendran enact the life and travails of a Tamil drama artiste on stage in a play titled 'Naadagam'. The play was excellent, said Rajini. The audience who were watching the play observed that Rajini appeared sad when a scene on stage depicted the poor state of theatre today.. The superstar is even today a stage devout as he is said to have started off acting in plays in the early stages of career.
