The latest from the actor Dhanush camp is that he may be seen with Sonam Kapoor in director Aanand L. Rai's 'Raanjhana'. Dhanush has signed the Hindi film after his 'Kolaveri Di' song had phenomenal response, transcending all barriers. His dogged determination to do a Hindi film also paid off with Aanand L. Rai offering to feature him in his film 'Raanjhana'. Dhanush plays a character named Kundan and a part of the film is set in Benaras (Varanasi). Rai's last film was 'Tanu Weds Manu'.
According to reports quoting trade circles, Sonam Kapoor, daughter of Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor, has been offered the lead role opposite Dhanush in the Hindi flick, but it may take her a while to decide because of her commitment to do two other Bollywood projects.
