She made her debut in Mollywood with the film 'The Reporter'. She acknowledges with gratitude the help she got from assistant director Binoy in delivering the 10-line dialogue.
Abhinaya played a cameo as the wife of Bodhidharman (Suriya) in A.R. Murugadoss's '7am Arivu'.
Her next is 'Mela Thaalam', directed by debutant Anbustain. This is perhaps her first full-fledged Tamil film, which has Sasikumar and Samuthirakani in the lead.
Even as Abhinaya is waiting for the release of 'Mela Thaalam', she has signed a film which will be made by Gautham Menon's production house. She plays opposite Jai. Prem Sai will direct the film. She has just finished doing a look test with Jai.
She is also cast in a Telugu film 'Dammu' in which she plays Jr.NTR's married sister.
