Vetrimaran selects Rana to act along with Simbu

Director Vetrimaran's new project 'Vada Chennai' (North Chennai)) will have Tollywood actor Rana play a role along with Simbu who is the lead character. Rana has earlier acted in the Telugu film 'Leader'

Cloud Movies will produce it. The shooting is scheduled to start in February.

The action-centric film will show North Chennai's other face, which has not been seen before, according to the film unit.

This is Vetrimaran's second film after 'Adukalam' which won for actor Dhanush a national award. Topsee paired with Dhanush.
