Vairamuthu has finished working on the song. He says,' It is a lovely duet song drenched in melody. Songs from this film will stand out for their sheer simplicity. They are part of the subject and not standalones.'
Working for Mani films in the past, the Vairamuthu_A.R. Rahman duo has given several memorable hits.
Apart from the songs, another significant feature of Mani's films have been the choice magnificent locations for dance sequences. The melody song may be filmed at a scenic spot near Mysore where Mani had shot most of 'Thalapathi' and a few songs for his other films.
The cast includes Action King Arjun who will be playing a vital role. Veteran actor Karthik's son Gautham has been selected to play the lead, while the heroine is yet to be named. Mani wants both the hero and the heroine to be new faces with no public exposure whatsoever.
As for Gautham, care has been taken to ensure that he remains an unknown figure. One will not get to see even his photograph. He is said to be studying in Bangalore now.
